Terms of service

Last updated 8 July 2026

Draft — pending legal review. This is a working draft, not yet reviewed by a solicitor. It will be finalised before launch and before any customer connects client data.

Agreement

These terms govern your use of MetricScout. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use MetricScout on behalf of an agency, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that agency.

The service

MetricScout crawls each connected website, scores its health across technical, SEO, accessibility and performance dimensions, and generates evidence-backed insights from periodic assessments and connected marketing data.

Accounts and teammates

An agency is a single tenant; teammates share it with equal access. You are responsible for your account credentials and for the activity of your teammates.

Acceptable use

  • Only connect websites and accounts you are authorised to analyse
  • Do not attempt to access another agency’s data
  • Do not use the service to break the law or infringe others’ rights

Your data

Our handling of data is described in our privacy policy. Where you process personal data through MetricScout, our data processing agreement applies.

Accuracy of measurements

Performance scores are lab-based measurements (PageSpeed Insights / Lighthouse) under stated test conditions, not real-user field data. Accessibility results are automated checks and are not a full WCAG conformance assessment. Insights are generated from collected data and are provided to support, not replace, professional judgement.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post the revised version here. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
